We are now able to offer an additional FRP deck solution to Clients with our new 'Solid' resin infused FRP decks.

These are designed and manufactured in a similar way to our well proven resin infused 'Sandwich' bridge decks but do not contain rPET structural formers and can be as slender as 30mm in thickness.

With a 120 year design life these lightweight FRP decks are an ideal solution for re-decking existing steel, concrete or timber bridge structures whose decks may have deteriorated. They can also be used to widen existing bridges in combination with structural steelwork.

We can manufacture the decks in virtually any size & they can be easily transported to site with individual decks being stacked on top of one another if needed in order to minimise the number of lorry movements required. They can then be quickly & safely mechanically fixed into position with minimal labour, plant & equipment.

Clients are already realising that these new solid FRP decks are a very cost-effective alternative bridge decking material to that of traditional materials such as hardwood timber.
