CRL Composites wins ICE Award
Sedlescombe Footbridge in East Sussex
CRL Composites is a division of CRL for the supply and installation of new FRP Composite Bridges.
For East Sussex County Council we designed and manufactured a new footbridge to replace an existing timber one. This was delivered to site and installed in an hour by Kier Services.
We have won an ICE Award for Environmental Engineering and Sustainability which is a great achievement for our first UK manufactured bridge.
We have now established a new business, Lifespan Structures, to design and manufacture these bridges.
This is the first company in the UK to offer this service and we already have several enquiries including three more for East Sussex CC.
