As part of our ongoing project with Ferrovial at Heathrow MSCP4, we have recently embarked on an essential phase that includes the repair of several high-level beams. This phase builds on our comprehensive scope which already covers temporary works, hydro-demolition, and concrete repairs.

The primary challenge on this tranche of works involves repairing four large beams spanning the car, bus, and taxi lanes, as well as several pedestrian walkways between Terminal 4 and the car park. All work is meticulously scheduled between 22:30 and 04:30 to minimize disruption to travellers, with site clearance and road re-opening needing to take place daily.
Working closely with Ferrovial and our supply chain, we have designed specialized major temporary works structures. These provide support for the beams during repairs and allow for the installation of protective hoarding which fully encapsulate the work area to ensure the safety of both our staff and the public.

Led by Tony Parsons and supported by Site Supervisor Gentjan Cjapi and his dedicated team, the project is progressing well, with completion targeted for early-to-mid 2025.

Stay tuned as we continue advancing this pivotal project at Heathrow MSCP4!
