Guildford Car Parks
Equilux, under the name of CRL Services, have again won the contract for relighting six of Guildford Borough car parks, namely, York Road, Farnham Road, Castle Car Park, Leapale Road, Black Horse and G Live Car Park. This includes a five year preventive and reactive maintenance of the car parks within the contract.
A total 1903 LED lights, comprised of standard and emergency will be replaced with smart controls while the car parks are operational for 24/7. This requires traffic management and close co-operation with the car park operators to maintain operational activity.
Our main challenge has been keeping up with the programme despite supply chain issues with the lead time for lighting changing from 4 to 16 weeks!
We are currently on target to complete before November.
